Address: Coulée de Lave 2004, 97439 Sainte Rose
An unlikely experience, in an unusual and impressive place.
There are only a few lava tubes in the world.
For that reason alone it is essential to visit at least one.
But this is a truly unique experience. Visit a lava tube at night under a full moon! With an extra wow factor
Imagine: After a few steps along the lava flow (by the light of a full moon!) you will enter the depths of the volcano - just moments away from its bowels. Julien will lead you into the lava tubes.
A quick word about Julien, he is a state qualified potholing and canyoning guide, but also a true devotee and he likes to share his passions. And one of his other passions is Creole culture.
And to share this he has decided to bring along some musicians on these evenings.
You should have concluded by now that visiting the lava tubes on a full moon night while being immersed in Creole culture is definitely a date for your diary!
Bring: trousers, a long-sleeved T-shirt, old trainers or hiking boots, 1 litre of water per person at least, waterproofs, a spare change of clothes (which will be left in the vehicle).
Trips go ahead provided at least 10 people book.
