"The Fishermen’s Trail" hikeDate: Sunday 10 dec 2017 - Sunday 10 Dec 2017
This hike, accessible to all walkers, starts at the Marine. It takes you to discover Sainte-Rose via its coastal path, considered among the most beautiful paths on the island and also called the "Fishermen’s Trail".
A wild coast bordered by vacoas, zakos apples, filaos ... each volcanic point invites you to make a short stop to quench your thirst, admire the landscape and check your progress on the "IGN" map of Didier, your guide, who’ll be delighted to tell you a little more about this region where volcanic activity is directly linked to the history of its inhabitants.
On arrival, the resurgences of the Anse des Cascades offer you a refreshing way to finish, where the melody of the waterfalls accompanies the pounding of the waves, before returning to your starting point.
Bring: good hiking boots, cap, sunscreen, wet weather clothes and a change for when you arrive, 1.5L minimum of water, snacks as required.
The hike requires a minimum of 6 people to book. The price includes an accredited Accompagnateur en Moyenne Montagne (mid-mountain) guide, return shuttle from the car park, 1 sandwich, 1 fruit juice, 2 cereal bars, 1 piece of fruit.
