Leisurely walk and fruity aperitif on the banks of the river
In the lush setting of Rivière des Marsouins, in the heart of the lychee orchards, we invite you to discover a place steeped in history: Ilet Bethléem.
This old religious site founded by the Sisters of Sainte Thérèse de Cluny is now popular for walks, picnics and swimming.
This tour will immerse you in the tropical environment of the East coast, the agricultural heritage past and present, the tradition of picnics on the island and the history of a forgotten village.
You will pass exotic fruits, tropical flowers and medicinal plants along your route. At the end of your walk, a "fruity aperitif" will be served, where you can taste local fruit and treats.
A Creole picnic is possible down by the river.
- The walk lasts 2 hr to 2 hr 30 approximately
