Zarlor hike – in the suspended jungle
Guided hike + Snack + lunch.
Head off and immerse yourself in wild nature in this secluded corner of Dos d’Ane!
Walking with our guide “Eclaireur de l’Ouest”, cross an ocean of green and delve deeper into the lush vegetation. Ferns, creepers, roots and above all humidity. Are you still on Reunion Island, or in the Amazon rainforest? Yes, you are definitely in the West of the island, look! There’s the ocean disappearing into the horizon, Piton Fougères and Piton Batard dominating the landscape!
Stroll along the narrow paths, steeped in the history of the slaves. See where the Reunion stonechats, Mascarene paradise flycatchers and their companions live and get a glimpse of their daily life in the wild.
It's not quite a jungle but it certainly feels like it!
An adventure that will resonate in your whole body where your effort will be rewarded with a traditional lunch, which awaits you in the village of Dos d’Ane.
