Kokedama means "air bubble" in Japanese. This technique consists in shaping a ball of substrate and re-forming the ball around the roots of a plant that will be suspended.
Make your Kokedama with Alice, our art teacher.
You will learn how to shape your substrate ball before covering it with sphagnum moss and holding it with nylon thread. Kokedamas can be hung by a wire or laid.
All the material is provided and you will leave with your creation to display at home or to offer.
The workshops take place in St-Denis, on Wednesday late afternoon, in the backyard of Maison Carrère.
Please note that the workshop is held in French.
